Your Review:: I've found that El Yucateco's Red and Green both go well with food that's not even remotely Mexican... it's a great way to spice up soups, ramen, pasta, and such; the smoky flavor goes well with lots of things. I've seen some people say it's not vinegar-based, but it is (contains water and acetic acid... aka, vinegar). It's just that El Yucateco doesn't beat you over the tongue with vinegar snap like some other, lesser brands do. - Haystack

One of the hotter sauces (without extract) that i have tried. A thick consistency that goes well with all mexicn foods. El Yucateco also make a green version and an extra hot version which is my fave. - Al

Don't waste your time. Not like El Yucateco green and Mayan habanero sauces, which are just bad, this is just very mediocre. There are much better habanero sauces out there, with much better flavors. - irock

Smoky, almost pungent habanero flavor, which I love. This sauce does a subtle, "sneak-attack", and has left me in almost panic-stricken siezures. LOVE IT. This and Cholula are 2 of my faves. Awesome on chicken and pork dishes. - Paul Doyle
